No 2022 Cgrr Calendar
We know that many of you are eagerly awaiting our CGRR Calendar sneak peek. After 13 years of having what we feel is the best calendar ever, CGRR will not be having one this year. It has been a bit of a rough 3 months for Deb, as she started having episodes of rapid heartbeat, tachycardia, dizziness and just generally not feeling well. After 3 days in the hospital, having angiogram, cardiac MRI, echocardiogram and another test, we did find out that her heart is very healthy – which is a good thing, but what is causing the problem? The cardiologist feels it is anxiety related, but we wonder if it is an after effect from the COVID vaccine, as she had a bad reaction from her first shot – very similar to what is going on now. She is on a beta blocker, and anti-anxiety meds, which have helped, but we cannot seem to get things normalized.
This has been very frustrating for Deb. Anyone that knows her knows she is not a person to sit still. This has kind of knocked the wind out of her sails, and she has been told by her doctors to try to take it easy for a while.
Don’t get too down about missing the 2022 calendar. Calendar photos that were submitted this year are in a folder with Mary and will be used for the next calendar. Mary loves creating this work of art every year and she is excited to make next year’s calendar better than ever! Thanks for your support and understanding!

All our English Cream Golden Retrievers are part of our family and live with us inside, not in a kennel. Our English Cream Golden Retrievers have plenty of room to play and run when they are enjoying a romp or fetching a new stick on our 20 acres of property. Our Golden Retriever puppies are well socialized, loved and will start training before going to their forever home. I believe a Golden is at her/ his best when they have a job to do. All our Golden Retrievers compete in competitive Conformation, Agility, and Obedience events. I believe the time we spend with our Golden Retrievers teaching and training them to compete in these events strengthens the bond that we share, as well as keeping our dogs in top condition mentally and physically.

Mill Dogs Female Golden Retrievers
We have a really special group of Goldens coming into our care. These Goldens and Golden Doodles are retired breeding dogs that a commercial breeder was looking to retire. Our volunteers will be picking up these dogs and they will be arriving soon. Our rescue is looking for adopters who can give these girls and boys a wonderful new life. They need a home with a lot of patience, compassion, and understanding. These new homes MUST have a fenced yard and another dog that will help in teaching this new family member how it is to be a loved family member. It is very rewarding to adopt one of these special dogs, but they do require a dedicated adopter.
