Their ears are level with their eyes. But the Americans are set behind and just above the eyes.

The top line of the English Cream is level and the tail is level with the back.

But the Americans back slopes slightly and the tail may have a moderate upward curve.

English Cream Golden Retrievers are known for their highly relaxed, ultra-mellow temperaments. These dogs are intelligent, loving, playful and incredibly loyal, which makes them the perfect pet to own from puppyhood. According to My Golden, the Canada club accepts cream and darker gold-colored dogs as long as the color is within the range of medium gold color retrievers. The UK accepts cream and lighter shades of goldens, but mahogany and red goldens are not accepted.

The English Cream Golden Retriever is a medium to the large-sized dog when fully grown. A male dog ranges between 22 and 24 in height.
