We here at Stage Gulch Goldens are some of the best English cream golden retriever therapy dog breeders in sunny Northern California! Shayla and Jake, our wonderful certified therapy dog trainers, raise each puppy with a tremendous amount of love at our beautiful ranch here in Petaluma, CA. We raise each golden retriever puppy using Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction techniques in order to develop confident, stable, resilient and loving therapy dogs with outstanding temperaments. We are happy to share our family with you and we are excited to get in contact with you about any inquiries or future adoptions!

As you may know, after the shelter-in-place orders were putin place last year, we closed adoption applications in May 2020 for volunteersafety and because we had very few Goldens and many more applicants.
Since January, NGRR has had a few more Goldens come into ourcare, which makes us cautiously optimistic that there will be more Goldens toplace with adopting families than there were last year. NGRR has re-opened our Adoption Applications on April 1. As restrictions ease, please bepatient as we continue to adhere to socially distanced, mask-wearing encounters,preferably outdoors. Please also be aware that the wait time for an availableGolden may be several months or more, so your patience is greatly appreciated.
We are hopeful to be announcing some in-person, outdoormeetups for our Golden friends in the coming months stay tuned and send Daisya note if you have suggestions of locations or times for ameetup!

Who We Are
We’re a small family operation working to provide the Happiest, Healthiest puppies we can. We strive to create a memorable experience for all. The true leader of the pack is Yvette Orchestrating the entire operation. She has one important requirement for every puppy that goes off to it new pack – she reserves the right to be “Grandma” for the life of the puppy. She asks that each one has it’s own Instagram account so that she can watch as them grow.
Our goal is to a Golden ‘Fur-baby’ that not only meets or exceeds industry standards when it comes to testing but, also have the fun loving personalities to match what people expect when they think of Golden Retrievers. Raising and breeding these beautiful animals is much more of a full time and demanding job than one would expect but, the joy that comes from seeing the smiles on the faces of each person as they go off with their new ‘Fur-baby’ makes it all worth-wild.
