Golden Creek Kennels began soon after we built our first home. I had asked my husband, Crawford for a golden puppy for Christmas, that was our girl Kelsey back in 1992.
Today we have moved onto another golden setting, which includes a beautiful home, five acres of land, a pond for our furry kids to play in, and a kennel with indoor /outdoor runs. Twenty years later we are as happy as our goldens are.
Our beautiful goldens will always greet your as a true golden should, with a wagging tail, and that marvelous golden smile that they are so well known for.
All of our puppy owners are families that come back time and time again, showing up for Open Houses to let their golden run with the others, and of course to show off their golden. As you allow your pet to adjust, do your best to create a stress-free environment for it. Always supervise it as it familiarizes itself with its new home.

Noisy Sleeping

We are located about an hour outside of Charlotte, NC in the country. We have a small farm for our Golden Retrievers and horses to run and play. On any given day you will find our Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles running, playing and even going for a swim in our pond. We breed for temperament and intelligence. All of our puppies are very well socialized before going to their new homes. Our puppies are friendly, intelligent, affectionate and have great personalities.
Our Golden Retriever and Goldendoodle puppies are ready to go to their new homes around 8 weeks old and have their first set of shots and have been wormed several times. They are eating solid food and will come with a small bag of food and puppy pack.
I am so thankful that we found Creekwood Acres, they gave me my new best friend, Freddie. Freddie is 9 months old and loving his life in Charlotte. He is extremely intelligent, mild-mannered, and handsome. I have no doubt that when we are ready for our next golden, we will call on Creekwood Acres again!
Shawna made the process extremely easy and was happy to take my initial call at 8pm on evening to walk me through their process. They have a beautiful facility out in the countryside and all of their pups are well cared for before they make the drive home.
