Abby is a self-motivated, passionate, reliable, and focused veterinary professional with 8 years of animal experience. She obtained her Associates degree in Agriculture Science from Northern Oklahoma College in 2015 and her AAS in Veterinary Technology degree from Murray State College in 2017. She is an Oklahoma and National Board Registered Veterinary Technician Certified. She was enlisted in the U.S. Army Department of Defense prior to joining our staff. In her spare time, Abby enjoys taking her kayak out to lakes and rivers.

Different Variations Of Mini Goldendoodle Puppies

Not all mini Goldendoodles are equal, there are a few different versions to choose from each having a little different genetic background based on the pups parents. We will explain all the differences in Mini Goldendoodle puppies and how they are bred below.

The terms used to differentiate a Mini Goldendoodles genetic makeup is F1, F1b and F1bb. We raise all versions of the mini goldendoodle breed.

F1 Mini Goldendoodle Pups.

A F1 puppy is also known as a First Generation puppy. The puppies mother is a Golden Retriever and the pups dad is a Mini Poodle. This version of mini goldendoodle usually has soft wavy or curly puppy fur. They will shed until they lose their puppy fur, after shedding they will shed a lot less, but will shed. This version is partially hypoallergenic and usually requires low maintenance. F1 mini goldendoodles usually need to be groomed every 6 months along with daily brushing to keep their curly hair from matting and getting tangled. The dogs usually grow up having great temperaments similar to golden retrievers. They usually get about 20-24 inches high at the shoulder and range in weight from 20-45 pounds.

This version is usually smaller in size, weighing around 15-25 pounds and only getting 14-16 inches tall at the shoulders. The smaller size makes them a great size for smaller homes and apartments.

She also earned an associate degree from Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City in veterinary technology and another Bachelor of Science in animal science from West Texas A& M. Ashley became an RVT in 2018 and is also RECOVER certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. One of the most interesting experiences in Ashleys career was traveling to Mongolia to help train veterinarians and technicians there. In her current role, Ashley enjoys applying the knowledge she learned in school and also working with such a close team. Forming relationships with clients is a priority for her as well!

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her church family and reading. She also plays the oboe in her church orchestra and is a part of the Christian Veterinary Mission.
