Hi my name is Heather. I am the owner of Puppy Love Pet Grooming. I am a dog groomer and a Golden Retriever Breeder. I live in Utah and Im a wife and mother of 4 children. I started Grooming dog in 2003 as a volunteer. Then I went to an apprenticeship program and was taught from a master groomer. After, four years of hands on training I started my business. Your Dogs will be treated with kindness and never neglected. I schedule individual times, so when you arrive at your appointment your dog gets groomed right away.
I just got into the Golden Retriever Breed in 2021. I have had 3 Goldens throughout my life so far and know they are my breed. So I started going to dog shows, meeting people, going through trainings and getting titles for my beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever. There is still much to learn and do before this part of my life will take off, but come back often to see updates.
What To Expect From A Golden Retriever Puppy
Although you have your expectations, its best to take note of the following. It will help you prepare for your pet, especially in the first few days of living together.
As you allow your pet to adjust, do your best to create a stress-free environment for it. Always supervise it as it familiarizes itself with its new home.
At the same time, prepare yourself for your pets habits in the first weeks:
Noisy Sleeping
Snoring is common in Golden Retrievers, so prepare yourself for loud noises when your pet is asleep. It can even grow louder as they age.
Moderate Training
Golden Retrievers responds well, especially to positive reinforcement. Thus, they dont need too much effort in training.
Squeaky Toys
Out of all toys, your pet will love the squeaky ones. For this reason, prepare for a lot of loud squeaks every time your pet is active.

Here at Wisteria Goldens we start all our English Cream Golden Retriever puppies on a routine to give them a great foundational start for continued training.
Our English Golden puppies that are 8 weeks and younger have a schedule which includes feeding, crate-time, playtime, and snuggles & cuddles time. Play and training time are done as a group and individually. They are introduced to crate training and should be able to spend most of the night in the crate within the first week after acclimating to their new home. *Please note, puppies are not sleeping all night in the crate, unless in our training program.
