A Michigan dog shelter is looking for three golden retrievers that were dumped somewhere in Mid-Michigan.
Great Lakes Golden Retriever Rescue said the trio of female goldens, Annabelle, Lucy and Pinky, were in the process of being given to the Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan following a divorce.
Before that transfer could take place, it was reported that the husband removed the dogs from the home and dumped them somewhere between Potterville, located west of Lansing, and Carson City.
Local authorities and agencies have been notified, according to the post.
Anyone who spots the dogs is asked to contact GRRoMs Intake Director at 620-0933. Facebook messages will also be accepted and passed on.

Our rescue program has from the very beginning been affiliated with Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. This provides PSLRA with liability insurance and many support services. Labradors come in to the Rescue program in two ways.
- Stray Labradors who have been turned into Puget Sound area shelters are held by animal control for three days, not counting the day of impound or any days the shelter is closed.
- If not claimed by their owners, the dogs are then made available for adoption.
- At this point, we can refer potential adopters, , directly to the shelter to adopt the dog.
- If a purebred Labrador is not placed directly from the shelter, we can rescue the dog and put him/her in one of our foster homes while we look for a new home.
- Usually, younger Labradors are adopted right from the shelter, and the ones in need of foster care are older dogs.

With all the current events going on right now, there are not many golden retriever puppies available, especially with breeders. Shelters and rescues are completely empty of most breeds.
