I have been in love with Golden Retrievers for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until I met a wonderful Papillon breeder who introduced me to responsible dog breeding, that I discovered my love for breeding dogs. She taught me why health testing is important and how to read pedigrees among a lot of other helpful things. After more than 10 years of careful research and planning, God blessed me with my first English Golden Retriever. Since then God brought a amazing man into my life, and together we live with our beautiful Goldens, a papillon and a cat on our small homestead in northwest Ohio.
Our goal with breeding English Golden Retrieve’s is to give people the opportunity to have a good experience as they add a happy healthy puppy to their family.
To insure each puppy has the best start possible we do four important things.
1. Healthy Parents.
Before a litter is even thought of, we carefully select parents that have had all their health testing done. We then decide which dogs best complement each others physical characteristics and temperaments.

At 4 weeks old, we start offering puppies a balanced raw diet. They will stay on this throughout their time with us. This gives puppies the nutritional they need to grow strong healthy bodies.

We have been extremely busy raising and training our new puppy litters, as well as homeschooling our five children. It’s been non-stop action around the Outback Valley Acres household, to say the least.
We are currently accepting $100 deposits on puppies that will be ready to go in April, May and June. Total price of the puppy is $1800, plus 7.25% sales tax. Once your deposit is received, we will contact you to schedule your appointment to come out and pick-up your puppy. Appointments are scheduled as the deposits are received. Both Canada and the U.K. accept a broader range of coat colors within the golden retriever standard than the American Kennel Club does.
U.S.
According to the American Kennel Club website, the standard coat color of the golden retriever is a “rich, lustrous golden of various shades.” The club further adds that the “predominant body color, which is either extremely pale or extremely dark, is undesirable. Some latitude should be given to the light puppy whose coloring shows promise of deepening with maturity.”
Canada
On the other hand, the Golden Retriever Club of Canada seems more inclusive of pale dogs. They state that “the acceptable range of colour in the golden retriever is broad. While a medium gold is always correct, coat colour can range from cream to a darker coppery gold.” The Club adds that as long as specimens are within this color range, they should be judged equally.
U.K.
