We entered into the business of breeding English Cream Goldens in 2019. Both my husband and I have owned Golden Retrievers since the mid 1980s and have loved the breed. After my husband purchased his English Cream Golden in 2012 in the Florida Keys, we knew that one day we would have a ranch and hopefully breed this phenomenal male Golden with a female, and we have done just that. Our female Golden comes from Babyface Goldens in Acworth, Georgia and she has become one of our family of five dogs. We have a rather large ranch comprised of horses, pony, Black Angus cows, chickens, rabbits, mini donkeys and regular size donkeys, goats, sheep, ducks, and 5 cats.
After all of our children left the nest, we decided to fulfill my childhood dream of owning a Real farm. Although, the daily routine of owning a farm can sometimes be overwhelming, I wouldnt trade it for anything else in the world. Our male Golden is the most docile dog with temperament that is almost unbelievable. He has NEVER done one thing wrong since he was a puppy himself in 2012. Our Dam is a young Golden and this is her first litter. She was born in 2018 and has enough spunk to handle all her puppies. She was sent to obedience school and the trainer said she was one of the smartest dogs that he had ever trained. By nurturing the puppies in our home, and giving them lots of daily attention, we are blessed to be surrounded with calm, affectionate, and well adjusted bundles of joy.

Health Tested Golden Retrievers From 100% Imported Lines
Secondly, as Golden Retriever breeders who care about quality, health is of utmost importance. All of our English Golden Retriever parents have passed tests for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes and have had DNA testing. All of our dogs have passed with hip scores equivalent to either OFA excellent or good. We have no dogs rated as fair in any category. According to canine psychologist, Dr. Stanley Coren, and his book, The Intelligence of Dogs, golden retrievers are the fourth smartest breed, behind Border Collies , Poodles , and German Shepherds .
This is great because theyre easy to train and intuitive.
However, because theyre so smart they can be mischievous, especially if theyre not mentally stimulated.

In recent years there has been a sharp increase in internet marketing strategies aimed at specifically promoting cream-colored Golden Retrievers. These light dogs are sometimes being presented to the general public as being exceptionally rare or extremely valuable and are often called English Cream Golden Retrievers or Rare White European Golden Retrievers or Exquisite Platinum Imported Golden Retrievers. Such cream Golden Retrievers are frequently being touted as being healthier, of having better temperament, of having stronger longevity and the implicit suggestion is that they therefore are more valuable than the more golden-colored Golden Retrievers bred in North America. Due to these common marketing ploys the average puppy buyer sometimes mistakes such light-colored Golden Retrievers for being a separate breed. Nothing could be further from the truth. Health Differences Between The English Vs American
Cancer is the main cause of death in American golden retrievers, according to the 1998 health study conducted by the Golden Retriever Club of America. Cancer accounts for 61.8% deaths from with American golden retriever bloodlines, whereas 38.8% for English Golden bloodlines. The KC, did a study of English bloodlines to account for this percentage. That is a significant difference between the two. The most common types of cancers are henamgiosarcoma, lymphosarcoma, mast cell tumor, and osteosarcoma. Because of this big difference, it is the greatest reason for a buyer to consider an English cream golden retriever puppy. This means that an English golden retriever usually lives about 1yr and 7months longer than an puppy from American bloodlines according to these studies.
